Archive Log file is full and how to delete archivelog files

What to do when archivelog file is full ?

when Alert log file is full,then we have to take backup of archivelog files and then delete,by using below command

RMAN>delete archivelog all backup 2 times to 'SBT';

How to Delete Particular date of Archivelog files  ?

RMAN>delete archivelog all complete before 'sysdate - 7';

Note :

             7 means: i am deleting seven days of archivelog files
